A calendar you can actually write on

The month view gives each day a large box with room to jot appointments, chores and reminders, which is what a fridge or desk calendar is for. The full-year view fits all twelve months on a single page for a quick wall reference. Weekends are lightly shaded so the shape of each week is easy to read at a glance.

Holidays and the week start

US federal holidays are marked in red in each month: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The floating holidays are worked out for whatever year you pick, so Thanksgiving lands on the fourth Thursday of November and Memorial Day on the last Monday of May. You can start the week on Sunday, the US norm, or on Monday, the ISO layout used in most of Europe and in many planners. The whole grid re-flows when you switch.

Printing tips

Everything is drawn as clean text and thin lines, so it prints fast and does not drain ink on heavy backgrounds. Choose Letter (8.5 × 11 in) or A4 (210 × 297 mm) and print at 100%. The full-year view fits all twelve months on one sheet. The single-month view gives one page per month with big boxes, so print twelve pages for a binder or just the months you need. Turn on background graphics in the print dialog if the weekend shading or header tint is missing. Because the calendar is generated live rather than saved as a fixed image, the dates and weekdays are always correct, and you can switch to 2026 or 2028 in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. US federal holidays for the selected year are marked in red inside the date box, including Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Juneteenth, Christmas and the Monday holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day. The dates are calculated for each year, so they are correct for 2026 through 2030.
January 1, 2027 is a Friday. It is not a leap year, so it has 365 days, which is 52 weeks plus one day, and December 31, 2027 also falls on a Friday. In the Sunday-start layout, January opens with five blank cells before the 1st.
Thursday, November 25, 2027. Thanksgiving is always the fourth Thursday of November, and the calendar marks it automatically along with the other federal holidays. November 2027 starts on a Monday, so the first Thursday is the 4th and the fourth Thursday is the 25th.
Yes. Choose Sunday for the US layout or Monday for the ISO layout used across most of Europe and in many planners. The whole calendar re-flows to match, including the shaded weekend columns, which move to the right-hand side in the Monday layout.
Yes. Set View to Single month, pick the month, and print. Each month fills a page with large boxes. Repeat for each month you need, or print all twelve for a full binder.
Yes. Switch between 2026 through 2030 in the Year menu. The weekdays, month lengths and holiday dates recalculate automatically, so the same page works as a 2026 calendar now and a 2028 calendar later without a new download.
The full-year view is designed to fit one Letter or A4 page in portrait, with all twelve months in a three-column grid. The single-month view uses one page per month with large writing boxes. Print at 100% and leave the margins at default.
